THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.8406 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to absorb the petitioner as Craft Teacher (SGBT) in the 5th respondent school from the date of availability of the aided vacancy of the post of Craft Teacher and to grant all consequential benefits. It has been contended by the petitioner that she was appointed as Craft Teacher in the 5th respondent school on 02.09.1983 and since then petitioner is continuously working in the 5th respondent school. Petitioner further contends that though an aided vacancy arose for the post of Craft teacher, the respondents are not considering her case for absorption into aided vacancy.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions of both the parties is of the considered view that if the petitioner is continuously working in the 5th respondent school right from the initial appointment, 5th respondent school shall submit fresh proposals to the competent authority within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Upon receipt of such proposals from the 5th respondent school, the respondents 1 to 4 shall consider and pass appropriate orders within four weeks thereafter.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
