Heard the leaned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents/A.P.S.R.T.C.
2. The petitioner was an ex-service man and retired form Army service in the year 2007. Subsequently, he was selected as Conductor under ex-servicemen quota on 31.02.2010 at Banswada Bus Depot in Nizamabad District of respondents-Corporation.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the services of some of the employees who were selected along with the petitioner under ex-servicemen quota as well as under general quota were regularized in the year 2011, whereas his services were regularized in October, 2013. Therefore, he filed the present writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for regularization in the month of January, 2011 onwards on par with the other employees who were recruited along with him and to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization from January, 2011 onwards instead of October, 2013 and pass appropriate orders.
4. The petitioner, however, made a representation, dated 29.12.2014 to the respondents to consider his case for regularizing his services in the year 2011 on par with the employees who were recruited along with him. The said representation is pending with the respondents.
5. Under the aforesaid circumstances, without going into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to examine the representation made by the petitioner and to consider the same in accordance with rules within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
