ORDER

None appears for the petitioner.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that this writ petition is filed seeking subsistence allowance. In pursuance of the interim order granted by this Court on 14.06.2005 in WPMP No.9296 of 2005, the respondents have paid subsistence allowance to the petitioner. Learned counsel further submits that since the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and the respondents have paid the subsistence allowance to him, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
