THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 19072 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not giving information on the application filed under RTI Act and in not giving proper response and for a consequential direction to the respondents to release the documents requested under RTI Act and consequently to pay the compensation amount of Rs.1,00,000/-.

Admittedly, RTI application is made by one Vijayalakshmi seeking some information from the respondents and as the said information is not provided by the respondent, present writ petition is filed. Counter is filed stating that the writ petitioner is not the applicant before the respondent authorities.

When the said objection is pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner, he could not satisfy this Court nor filed any reply to the counter affidavit.

Heard learned Standing Counsel who also raised the same objection. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is misconceived.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
