HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 22933 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners challenge the action of the respondents in introducing Ticket Issuing Machines and this Court granted interim directions on 18.11.2002 and by virtue of the interim orders, the respondents have not entrusted the above machines to the petitioners.

Learned standing counsel for the respondents contends that during pendency of the writ petition, the State Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.41, Transport, Roads & Buildings (Tr.I) Department, dated 29.09.2015 amending Rule 72 of Telangana State Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and consequent upon which, liberty may be given to the respondents to pass appropriate orders in the case. This Court having considered the rival submissions made by the parties is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with the rules.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 14th December, 2018 cbs
