THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:
Petitioner is editor of Anantha Sagaram Daily News Paper, claimed to have been registered in the year 2011. Responding to the advertisement issued in the daily newspapers by the District Collector calling for applications for Accreditation from the Editors of the newspapers, petitioner submitted application requesting to grant 10 Accreditation Cards from the respondents. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed. 2.
When specifically asked the counsel for petitioner to clarify when such application was made, learned counsel stated that application was submitted in person and he does not have proof of submission of application. In view of the same, no direction as sought for can be granted at this stage.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application with an acknowledgment either by inward section or by registered post requesting to grant Accreditation, this writ petition is disposed of. If such application is received, the District Collector shall consider the request and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of such application.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed as consequence. There shall be no order as to costs.
