THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.41968 OF 2016 ORDER:

The limited grievance agitated in the Writ Petition is that aggrieved by the property tax demand made by the respondent - Municipality, the petitioner filed a Revision Petition, which was acknowledged by it on 06.07.2016, but so far no orders are passed. The petitioner alleges the deliberate action in not disposing of the Revision Petition and threatening action of the respondent - Municipality for non-payment of the property tax. 2.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Municipality does not dispute that Revision Petition filed by the petitioner is pending.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner of the respondent - Municipality to consider the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
