HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE ANIS Writ Petition No. 24640 of 2016 ORDER:

It is stated that the petitioners gave an undertaking to the University yesterday for a reduced intake. Though we have kept an open mind to see if the petitioners have been wrongfully deprived of the benefit of admission to the entire extent of permitted intake, the materials produced before us are not so strong as to grant an extra benefit to the petitioners over and above what is conferred by the University after extracting an undertaking from them.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is closed, because nothing else will remain. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
