THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.16611 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition and Sri S.S.Varma, learned Standing Counsel for National Highways Authority of India.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, for redresal of his grievance, petitioner herein submitted a representation on 08.03.2018 to the Competent Authority (Land Acquisition)-third respondent herein but no action has been taken till date. On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that, if any such representation is pending consideration, the same would be verified and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law. Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to verify the representation, dated 08.03.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
