Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that respondent Nos.2 and 3 are not granting any police aid to them in spite of representation, dated 07.03.2015 to ensure the interim injunction order of the Senior Civil Judge, Kovur, in I.A.No.576 of 2014 in O.S.No.215 of 2014, dated 27.10.2014.

3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader, however, show that petitioner's application, dated 07.03.2015, seeking police aid was received through registered post, but on verifying that there are no further directions in the civil court to grant police aid, no further action was being taken by respondent Nos.2 and 3.

4. It cannot be appreciated that the police require civil court's order to extend protection to the petitioners when the order of the civil court clearly grants an injunction in their favour. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 are, therefore, duty bound to extend the aid to the petitioners so as to ensure that the order of the civil court is implemented on ground and that refusal of the police to extend the police aid to the petitioners till a specific direction is issued from civil court cannot be appreciated.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to act in the aid of the order of the civil court, referred to above, and take all necessary steps in that direction. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
