THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NOs.19010 & 19019 OF 2019 COMMON ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

In these two writ petitions petitioners claim that their father while working as Home Guards, died.

The scheme of compassionate appointment is also extended to the dependants of the deceased Home Guards. In terms thereof, petitioners applied for compassionate appointment. On consideration of their eligibility, their names were recommended for appointment. Vide Memorandum dated 10.10.2016 the Director General of Police directed the Superintendent of Police, Khammam District, to obtain No Objection Certificate in respect of Sl.Nos.3 and 4 of the Memorandum, who are petitioners herein and also VII Class pass certificate of Sl.No.1.

According to petitioners, No Objection Certificate was already furnished and the eligibility criteria is also indicated. But so far no further steps are taken.

Having regard to the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, directing the Superintendent of Police, Khammam, to take further steps in consequent to the orders of the Director General of Police, vide Memorandum dated 10.10.2016, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already taken

and no rejection order is issued. Pending miscellaneous, petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
