O R D E R

Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents 1 and 2 - Municipal Authorities in considering the representations of the petitioner dated 17.1.2017 and 23.1.2017 against the unauthorised and illegal construction being made by the respondents 3 and 4 on the subject land, the present writ petition has been filed.

The Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the Corporation would take appropriate action on the representations said to have been made by petitioner in accordance with law. The leaned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 submits that these respondents have valid permission and the construction is being made as per the said permission.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions of the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to cause verification of the permission said to have been obtained by the unofficial respondents 3 and 4 and if the construction on the subject property is going on in accordance with the said permission, there shall not be any interference. In case, the construction whether temporary or permanent, is being made without any sanctioned plan, appropriate action in accordance with law shall be taken. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
