The criminal petition is filed seeking quash of proceedings against the petitioners, who are A1, A3 and A5 respectively, in CC.No.466 of 2009 on the file of the II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Madanapalle, Chittoor District. The offences alleged are under Sections 447, 379, 406 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 28(5) of the AP WALTA Act.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent. 3.

Learned Public Prosecutor places before this Court a letter addressed by the Sub Inspector of Police, Nimmanapalli Police Station, Chittoor District dated 06.11.2018 stating that during the pendency of the criminal petition, the learned Magistrate acquitted A1 to A4 through judgment dated 24.11.2015.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 28, 2018 DSK
