THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 19047 OF 2019 O R D E R:

Petitioner challenges the report dated 10.07.2019 alleged to have been submitted by the 4th respondent Revenue Inspector, Koheda Mandal on the Application dated 17.06.2019 of the 5th respondent.

There is no dispute that the petitioner's name was recorded as pattadar in respect of the land in Survey No. 1094 over an extent of Ac.0.34 guntas. However, the petitioner apprehends that the name of the 5th respondent may be mutated in the revenue records based on the report of the Revenue Inspector dated 10.07.2019.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the Revenue Inspector does not have any power to alter or even recommend for mutation of name without conducting any proceedings in relation thereto.

Admittedly, even as per the report of the Revenue Inspector, the petitioner's name was shown as pattadar in the revenue records. In view of the same and also in view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, it is made clear that no changes in the revenue records in respect of the subject land shall be made merely based on the impugned report of the Revenue Inspector and without conducting enquiry duly putting the petitioner on notice.

Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
