HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.19538 OF 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the proceedings dated 8.8.2000 issued by the respondents clarifying that the petitioner is not eligible for the benefits under automatic advancement scheme, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to grant Special adhoc and promotion post scales to the petitioner.

On 9.10.2002, while admitting this writ petition this Court issued interim direction to the respondents not to recover amount from the petitioner, which was paid to him towards annual increments from 1.4.1985.

When this matter is taken up for hearing today, it is informed that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and further, in view of the interim direction, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
