P.V.Sesha Rao v. State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.NO.19013 OF 2019
O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioners is that, though no crime is registered against them, the respondent - police authorities, at the instance of 5th respondent - Bank, are harassing them, and insisting to settle the matter with 5th respondent.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Inspector of Police, Police Control Room, Hyderabad, wherein it is stated as under:
"3. It is submitted that in para Nos.6 and 7 of the writ affidavit, the petitioner alleged that one person by name Prabhakar Reddy claiming to be Circle Inspector of Police, Control Room Hyderabad has made phone calls on 20-08-2019 to the phone of the 2nd petitioner, and stated that the 2nd petitioner is not available in Hyderabad, and forcing him to produce the 2nd petitioner and harassing the 1st petitioner. In reply to these paras, I submit that no police officer with the name Prabhakar Reddy is working as Circle Inspector of Police, in the Control Room, Hyderabad. Further no police officer from Control Room Hyderabad has made phone call to the petitioners, and the petitioners will be put to strict proof of the same.
4. In reply to the para Nos.8 and 9, it is submitted that the Police Control Room is a unit of Command and Control, to regulate the administration work and it is not a Law and Order Police Station. The allegation made by the petitioner against the 4th respondent is far away from truth and the 4th respondent do hereby deny all those allegations."
Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners, except in accordance with law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
