Heard Smt.A.V.S.Lakshmi for petitioner and Sri S.V.Ramana, Standing Counsel for respondents.

The petitioner complains against inaction of respondents in providing compassionate appointment to petitioner upon the demise of her husband and alternatively not providing additional monetary benefit is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional. The Standing Counsel places on record xerox copy of receipt dated 18.04.2009 executed by petitioner receiving a sum of Rs.44,452/ - towards additional monetary benefit. In view of receipt of additional monetary benefit, the counsel for petitioner does not press the prayer.

The writ petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall no order as to costs.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed.
