THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMIN.AL PETITION No.6541 OF 2o20 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioner-accused No.3 to quash the proceedings initiated against him 1n Crime No.44 1 ol 2O2O of Sircilla Town Police Station, Rajanna Sircilla District, registered for the offences under Sections I2O-8, 766, 167, 42O, 441, 463, 464, 46A, 47 I read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code 2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioneraccused No.3 3.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No. 1-State has submitted that during pendency of this criminal petition, the Police concerned have completed the investigation and fded charge-sheet before the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-cumJudicial Magistrate of First Class, Rajanna Siricilla District and numbered as C.C.No.829 of 2022. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has filed a copy of e-Courts proceedings to substantiate the same.

In view of the above submission, since entire investigation is completed and charge sheet is also Iiled, the very purpose of filing the criminal petition to quash Crime No.44 I of 2O2O of Sircilla Town Police Station, Rajanna Sircilla District, is defeated and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is given liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if he so desire.

Pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
