Sri P. Venkateshwer Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that since the petitioners have already been appointed as contract drivers, the cause in the writ petition does not survive, and the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
