Palepu Narmadamma v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY Crl.P.No.8744 of 2014 & Crl.P.No.17368 of 2016 COMMON ORDER:
Both the Criminal Petitions are filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.774/2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Karimnagar for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A & 506 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.
Both parties appeared in person and they are identified by their respective counsel and the parties also produced their photo copies of Aadhar Cards in proof of identity.
2. On enquiry, both parties have stated that they settled the matter out side the Court and decided to live together separately by maintaining peaceful life and they also withdrawn the earlier Crl.P.No.16589/2016 filed for quashing the proceeding in DVC.
3.
As the compromise is voluntary and in the interest of parties, by following the principle laid down by the Apex Court in GIAN SINGH vs. STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER1, it is a fit case to grant permission to compound the offences by allowing these criminal petitions. 4.
Accordingly, both the Criminal Petitions are allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.774/2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Karimnagar are quashed and the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these Criminal Petitions, shall stand disposed of. _________________________________________ JUSTICE M.
