On perusal of the record, it is found that the petitioner was elected as a President of the Pulipadu Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, Pulipadu Post, Gurazala Mandal, Guntur District in the elections conducted in the year 2005. Questioning the proceedings in Rc.No.1323/ 2006-B dated 06.01.2007 wherein the Managing Committee of the Society was ceased to hold the office from 01.10.2005 under Section 32(1)(A) of the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964. In exercise of the powers vested under Section 32(7)(a) of the said Act, the Assistant Registrar/ Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, Gurajala (Incharge) as Person-in-charge to manage the affairs of the Pulipadu Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society for a period of six months from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders or till the election to the Committee of the Society is held, whichever is

MGR, J WP No.2361 of 2007 earlier. Against which the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

On 09.02.2007, this Court while issuing notice before admission suspended the impugned proceedings by stating that the elected Committee shall be entitled to function until further orders. Thereafter the respondents filed counter affidavit and vacate petition. During the pendency of the writ petition, the term of the elected Committee expired in the year 2010. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and the same has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
