There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.
The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: " ....to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in not receiving the complaint lodged by the petitioner dt. I.09.2015 and not registering a crime basing on the complaint and not investigating into the matter is illegal and arbitrary and contrary to the fundamental principles enshrined in the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to receive and register the complaint given by the petitioner dt.1-09-2015."

When the matter is called, learned GP appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 3 placed on record, the written instructions dated 5.11.2015 issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Nagarampalem Police Station, Guntur Urban district. 4.
From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that as on the date of issuing the written instructions, no complaint was received from the petitioner. It is also mentioned that if the petitioner approaches and files any complaint, the respondent Police would take steps to register the case as per law. 5.
In view of the said specific statement, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the Writ Petition. 6.
Accordingly, by placing the written instructions on record, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
