THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI Writ Appeal No.1614 of 2008 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} It is represented by the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (TG) that the respondent had continued the appellant as a Fair Price Shop Dealer, despite dismissal of the writ petition filed by her challenging the order of her termination.

As the respondent himself has chosen to continue the appellant, even in the absence of an interim order for the past nine years, we see no reason, at this stage, to express any opinion on merits, or regarding the validity of the order impugned before the Learned Single Judge. Suffice it to make it clear that, in case any action is taken by the respondent, it is open to the appellant to avail her legal remedies. The Writ Appeal fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
