This writ petition is filed challenging Memo No.SE/O/SKL/Adm/A1/D.No.1070/2000 dated 30.09.2000, through which petitioner was reverted to the post of U.D. Clerk is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioner as Junior Accounts Officer in accordance with the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee held on 31.03.2000.

2. Advocate for petitioner submitted subsequent to filing of writ petition, petitioner was given promotion and the cause has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission of advocate for petitioner, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

4. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed.
