ORDER:

This Criminal Revision Case is filed under Sections 397 and 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.) by the petitioner-accused to set aside the order dated 22.03.2018 passed in Crl.M.P.No.106 of 2017 in S.C.No.368 of 2016 by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Manthani, and consequently discharge the petitioner and acquit him of charge. 2.

Heard. Perused the record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not pressing for the relief of discharging the petitioner. However, he seeks intervention of this Court to direct the Court concerned to dispose off the above case expeditiously since the case is of the year 2016. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, since the sessions case is of the year 2016, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Court concerned to undertake the trial on day to day basis as required under Section 309 of Cr.p.C. and dispose of the above sessions case as expeditiously as possible

within a period of four (4) months, in accordance with law, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of.
