THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO W.P. Nos.39278 and 39279 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:

It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Standing Counsel that the issue in these writ petitions is covered by the decision of a Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No. 968 of 2015 and batch. In the said batch of Writ Appeals also, the issue for consideration was whether the consumer can oppose the demand by the Power Distribution Companies for payment of additional consumption fee, on the ground that there is increase in consumption of electricity by high tension consumers. The Writ Appeals preferred by the Power Distribution Companies were allowed, and the prayer of the petitioners therein to waive the additional consumption fee was held as not valid. 2.

Following the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos. 968 of 2015 and batch, these writ petitions are also dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
