This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. challenging the order, dated 19.07.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.344 of 2019 in C.C.No.244 of 2017 on the file of the Special Judl.

Magistrate of I Class (Excise), Karimanagar.

As seen from the record, the petitioner hereinA1, who is the passport holder, filed the above petition for extension of time to deposit the passport. The trial Court vide impugned order, dismissed the said petition,. 3.

During the course of arguments, the only prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that one month time may be granted to appear before the concerned Court and surrender the passport.

In the light of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar, one month time is granted from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to appear before the concerned Court and surrender passport. It is made clear that no further time will be granted to the petitioner to come back to India from abroad and to appear before the concerned Court to surrender the passport. If the petitioner fails to appear before the concerned Court and surrender his passport, contempt proceedings may be

initiated against the petitioner and the trial Court shall proceed against the sureties for recovery of the surety amount. However, the other conditions imposed by the learned Special Judl.Magistrate of I Class (Excise), Karimangar, in the order, dated 03.03.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.212 of 2019, shall remain intact.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
