ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for LIC appearing for the respondents.
The petitioner states that he is a graduate in Commerce from the Osmania University. He is qualified and eligible for the post of Temporary Assistant and accordingly, he was appointed as Temporary Assistant in the 4th respondent branch office for two spells i.e., 45 days each and worked from 05-08-1988 to 17-09-1988 and 20-09-1988 to 28-11-1988. While so, the 2nd respondent issued a notification on 21-07-2015 in compliance of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.6950 of 2009 and batch, dated 18-03-2015 to implement the Award, dated 18-06-2001 in I.D.No.27 of 1991 passed by the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, New Delhi. It is the further case of the petitioner that as per the said notification, dated 21-07-2015, which was published in the Newspaper, dated 23-07-2015, his case has to be considered. Accordingly, he submitted an
application for absorption as permanent staff along with required documents through post on 10-08-2015. He also submitted a representation on 22-07-2016. When no orders were passed on the said representation, the present writ petition is filed.
In view of nature of relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition, learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondents will consider the representation, dated 22-07-2016 and pass appropriate orders. In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 22-07-2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
