THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.V.SHRAVAN KUMAR WRIT PETITION (TR) No.4972 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition(TR) has been filed seeking to declare "that the applicant is entitled for compassionate appointment in terms of G.O.Ms No.118, dated 18.08.1999 as per his qualification to any suitable post being dependant of the deceased employee whose services are not being regularized on account of delay on administrative reasons with all consequential benefits by holding the action of the respondents in denying the claim of the applicant for such appointment would amount to violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India." 2.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2005.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for respondents submits that if the representation dated 08.04.2005 is still pending for consideration, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider the said representation, dated 08.04.2005 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition(TR) is disposed of directing respondent authorities to

dispose the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2005, if not already considered; and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the order, and communicate the same to the petitioner.
