This petition is filed by the petitioners under Section 437 and 439 Cr.P.C. seeking bail in Crime No.222/2015-16 on the file of the Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Prathipadu, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8 (c ) r/w 20(b) (ii) (c ) of the NDPS Act.

It is alleged that the petitioners were found in possession of 68 kgs of dry ganja in 17 polythene covers. Since the ganja found in possession of the petitioners is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
