Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, for redressal of his grievance, petitioner herein submitted a representation, dated 17.04.2018, to the respondents but no action has been taken till date.

Eventually a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the respondents to verify the representation, dated 17.04.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action as per law. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader submitted that if any such representation is pending consideration, as on today, the same would be verified and appropriate action would be taken, in accordance with law. Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify the representation, dated 17.04.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action, strictly in accordance with

law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
