It is the case of the petitioners that they filed application for deletion of land admeasuring Ac.1.49 cents in Sy.No.84/1, situated at Gajuwaka Village, Visakhapatnam, which was included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act by the 2nd respondent. The petitioner made an application dated 01.07.2016 for deletion of the same. Meanwhile, the same was also mentioned in the Gazette Notification dated 13.08.2014 in Sy.No.84 as 'No Man Land'. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of the principles laid down in Vinjamuri Rajagopala Chary v. State of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Hyderabad1 the District Collector-2nd respondent has power to add or delete the subject property from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 01.07.2016 and take action accordingly keeping in view of Full Bench Judgment of this Court in the case of Vinjamuri Rajagopala Chary (supra), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 1 2016(1) ALT 550 (F.B)
