Muthey Srinivas, v. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.32759 of 2015 ORDER:
Petitioner is one of the applicants for selection as dealer for a petroleum outlet advertised by the first respondent at RHS on Muthyampet Village to Venkatapur Village on SH -24, Adilabad District. He states that initially, he was empanelled at Sl.No.1 but subsequently, third respondent is now being empanelled at Sl.No.1. He states that he came to know about several infirmities in the candidature of the third respondent. Hence, he submitted a detailed representation, dated 12.08.2015, to respondent No.2, who also heads the Grievance Cell. According to him, the said representation though received by respondent No.2 is not being considered and thereby, merit ranking between him and the third respondent is not being revised.
Sri Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the Corporation has already received the petitioner's representation and respondent No.2 is examining the grievance of the petitioner and after due verification and issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondent No.3, he would take appropriate decision. Since the learned Standing Counsel himself reports that the petitioner's representation is getting necessary clearance from respondent No.2, the grievance ventilated by the petitioner in this Writ Petition stands automatically redressed and no further direction is called for.
Taking note of the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand
closed. No order as to costs.
