HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.18596 OF 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the notification dated 25.6.2002, issued by the 3rd respondent disengaging the services of the petitioner with effect from 1.7.2002, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and if any benefits are to be paid to the petitioner, the same may be directed to be paid to the petitioner.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay the terminal benefits, if not already paid to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No order as to costs.
