THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.23699 of 2016 ORDER:

1 This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Nos.4 and 5 in trying to change the layout of Balaji Nagar Housing Colony in Sy.No.72, 726, 728, 729, 730, 731, 732 & 733 in respect of subject land admeasuring 1300 sq.yards, which is meant for Balaji Temple into residential plots and also interference of the police as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent Nos.4 and 5 not to change the nature of the land in respect of subject land. 2 At the time of arguments, the learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5, on instructions, submitted that the Gram Panchayat is committed to protect the land earmarked for the purpose of construction of temple.

3 The learned counsel for the petitioner, in all fairness, submitted that in view of the submissions made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos.4 and 5, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition.

4 Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
