HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 16431 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the record relating to and connected with I.D.No.141 of 1999 on the file of the 1st respondent-Labour Court and quash the award dated 11.12.2001 passed therein holding it as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by learned counsel on either side that in compliance with the award of the Labour Court, the petitioner had reinstated the respondent-workman into service and the respondent - workman had joined duty on 26.07.2002 and, thereafter, tendered resignation on 14.09.2002. In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. It is needless to say that the respondent - workman is at liberty to submit a representation to the petitioner for settlement of the dues payable to him by the petitioner, and upon receiving such representation, the petitioner shall pass appropriate orders thereon.
