THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6945 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/A.1 to A.6 in Crime No.201 of 2014 on the file of the Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Charminar (S/Z), Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 read with 34 I.P.C., and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the police investigated into the matter and filed the charge sheet.

In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the purpose of filing the petition has become infructuous.

Hence the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
