4 The Person In charge & Assistant Director of Marketing, Medak, Medak District (Agricultural Market Committee of Sadasivapet) .....Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of first respondent in issuing Telangana Ordinance No.1 of dated 13.02.2015 and consequential Memo No.954/MKT.I/2015-1 dated 14.02.2015 of the second respondent as null and void apart from being arbitrary, illegal, violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and set aside the same.

The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed in herein and upon hearing the arguments of SMT K.V. RAJASREE Advocate for the Petitioner, GP for Legal Affairs, Legislative Affairs (TG) for Respondent No.1, GP for Agricultural (TG) for Respondent Nos.2 & 3. and of Sri K. Upender Reddy, Standing Counsel for Respondent No.4, the Court made the following.

ORDER:

Since the Ordinance has been challenged, notice shall be issued to the learned Advocate General of the State of Telangana. Status quo, as on today with regard to the functioning of the Market Committee, shall be maintained until further orders. Post along with WP No.3882 of 2015.
