HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.19761 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 09.03.2015, for providing employment to the eligible member of each family of the petitioners in lieu of the lands acquired by the respondents in Usrikayalapalli Village, Singareni Mandal of Khammam District.

3. Heard Sri K.Venumadhav, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri J.Sreenivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Company.

4. It has been contended by the petitioners that they are all owners of small extents of lands and the respondentCompany had acquired their lands during the year 1988. The petitioners further submit that the respondents have taken a policy decision to provide employment to such of those farmers whose lands were acquired and petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents to provide employment to atleast one of the family members of the petitioners/land oustees, but so far no orders are passed by the respondents on their representation. Therefore, the counsel for the petitioners submits that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition

AKS, J W.P.No.19761 of 2015 directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.03.2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Company submits that the cases of the petitioners would be considered and appropriate orders would be on the representation submitted on 09.03.2015, in accordance with the Rules.

6. Having considered the rival submissions, this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 09.03.2015 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with the governing Rules, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
