The petitioner is aggrieved of the inaction of the 1st respondent-Joint Collector in disposing of his representation dated 05.08.2019 that he filed seeking review of the orders dated 22.10.2005 passed by the 1st respondent, whereunder the 1st respondent dismissed the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 28.05.1998 passed by the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Learned Government Pleader asserts that there is no power vested with the Joint Collector to review his own orders, and if the petitioner is aggrieved of the order dated 22.10.2005 passed by the Joint Collector, he may file a revision before this Court under the A.P. (T.A) Abolition of Inams Act, 1955.

Having considered the respective submissions, the writ petition is closed by giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
