A. Laxmanna, v. The Vice Chairman And Managing Director,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 4339 OF 2008 O R D E R :
This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner's case to appoint in any alternative suitable post in terms of Sec. 47 of the persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.
Heard Sri S.D. Gowd, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Aravala Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the APSRTC. This Court while admitting the writ petition on 29.02.2008, had made the following order:
"Heard both sides.
There shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to any alternative suitable post in terms of Section 47 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities ) Act, 1995, and pass appropriate orders, as per law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the same to the petitioner. W.P.M.P.is accordingly disposed of "
As can be seen from the interim order, virtually the learned Judge has allowed the Writ Petition granting the relief, which had sought in the main writ petition. Hence, nothing is required to order in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
