When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned standing counsel for APSRTC appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that since the subject matter of the writ petition relates to issuance of transfer proceedings in the year 2002, now the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

In view of the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
