THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.300 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C. No.359 of 2013 on the file of VII Special Magistrate Court, L.B. Nagar at Hasthinapuram.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On 17.01.2014, while giving notice to the 1st respondent, this Court granted bail to the petitioner. Admittedly, the case pertains to the year 2014. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioners at this length of time.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J February 16, 2016.
