HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.290 OF 2013 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "Writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 3 in not considering the complaint dated 11.12.2012/14.12.2012 and not initiating any action against the respondent No.4 and not by providing protection to the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary." Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that after obtaining permission from the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tiruvur, a case in crime No.4 of 2013 was registered under Section 506 IPC by the Station House Officer, Chatrai Police Station on 22.01.2013 and investigation is under progress.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
