IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD
FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 14792 of 2008 Date: 06.06.2016 Between:
T. Veeraiah Gupta.
... Petitioner And The Managing Director, APSRTC, Hyderabad & others.
... Respondents
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 14792 of 2008 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy for the respondents.
This writ petition was filed in 2008 for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not providing proper facilities and in not maintaining hygienic condition in Ieeza APSRTC bus stand, Mahaboobnagar District as being illegal and arbitrary and against the public interest and consequently direct the respondents to provide for all the facilities requested by the petitioner through representation dated 24.09.2007 to maintain neat, clean, hygienic conditions at Ieeza bus stand, Mahaboobnagar District and to pass such other or further orders in the interest of justice."
Proceedings sheet shows that the writ petition was adjourned from time to time and on last occasion it was directed to go out of the list. Even today, learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to argue the matter on merits at all and he submits that the file is misplaced. We are not inclined to adjourn the matter as prayed.
Writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to provide the amenities, if not provided already, as prayed.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
