This writ petition is filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for admission into Integrated M.Sc/Ph.D. Bio-Chemistry and Molecular Biology for the academic year 2019-20.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and Sri V.Krishna Mohan, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents and perused the record.

It is the case of the petitioner that on account of vacancy arising due to non-joining of one of the students in general quota, a seat has fallen vacant and as such, her candidature may be considered for admission for the said vacancy. 4.
Sri V.Krishna Mohan, appearing for Respondents would submit that all the candidates who were belonging to general quota have taken admission and there are no vacancies exists for the academic year 2019-20.

In view of the above categorical assertion made on behalf of Respondent University, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered and therefore, the writ petition fails and accordingly dismissed.
