HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.16851 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of 3rd respondent in calling the petitioners to the police station and directing the petitioners to furnish Aadhar cards without having any jurisdiction, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct 3rd respondent not to interfere into the petitioners liberty.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the petitioners herein were the accused in Cr.No.130/2012, under Section 302, r/w.34 IPC of Kalyandurg Town P.S; and that the petitioners/accused were acquitted in the said crime vide SC No.694/2012, dated 25.03.2013, but denied the allegations of the petitioners that the 3rd respondent has been harassing the petitioner and threatening to register crime against them and that on 29.04.2018 two constables visited the petitioners' house and forcibly taken them into their jeep, threatened the petitioners and kept them in the police station till evening. Recording the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of. It goes without saying that the respondents can not call the petitioners to the

police station except in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 11.06.2018 t k.
