THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.37046 of 2016 ORDER:

Petitioners complain against seizing Lorries bearing Nos.AP22Y 8085 and AP22X 8610 as illegal and unconstitutional and seeks release of the vehicles.

On instructions, the Assistant Government Pleader for Home, submits that on 27.10.2016, in Cr.Nos.315 and 316 of 2016, the subject vehicles have been deposited before the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Narayanapet. Since the vehicles are deposited with the Court of competent jurisdiction, the petitioners have to move the Court for appropriate reliefs. The petitioners are given liberty to move the competent Court for release of vehicles and they are also given liberty to specifically draw the attention of the learned Magistrate to the procedure stipulated in G.O.Ms.No.15, dated 19.02.2015, and by satisfying that the subject vehicles are involved for the first time, obtain appropriate orders. As and when such application is made, it is hope, expeditious orders are passed not later than one week therefrom.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________ S. V. BHATT, J Dt:11.11.2016.
