This Contempt Case has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.08.10.2014 in W.P.MP.No.37541 of 2014 in W.P.No.30038 of 2014.

It is the contention of the counsel for petitioners that on 16.09.2014, a complaint under Rule 28 of the A.P. Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011 was filed by the 2nd respondent on the basis of a Compounding Notice, which was questioned in the above Writ Petition and which was stayed in the above interim order.

It is not in dispute that the above interim order was passed subsequent to the filing of the complaint by the 2nd respondent on 16.09.2014. So, the 2nd respondent cannot be said to have willfully disobeyed the interim order dt.08.10.2014 in W.P.MP.No.37541 of 2014 in W.P.No.30038 of 2014.

Therefore, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
