HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14249 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 & A3 seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 364 of 2011 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (FIR No. 412 of 2010 of Humayunngar Police Station).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 05.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Humayunnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 7.7.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 364 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
